Product Describe:

The tracheostomy tube with suction lumen is a medical device. The product is made of medical grade PVC material and combined with tube, connector, fixing belt, inner introducer, inflating tube, pilot balloon, one-way valve, suction catheter and joint connector.

Usage:
It is for single use to provide disposable mechanical airway for adult patient in general tracheotomy operation for anesthesia, mechanical ventilation and assisted(assist) respiration's needs. It can also suck up the sputum from patient's upper respiratory tract during retention.

Directions:
1.Clinician should select suitable size of Tracheostomy Tube.
2.Tear outer package, use syringe to inflate the balloon and check if there is air leakage.Only can be used after balloon quality confirmation.
3.Insert the tube into patient's trachea through surgical incision as per Tracheostomy Intubation Guide.
4.Inject suitable volume of air into balloon according to different size. The balloon pressure should not over 1.7kpa after inflation.
5. After make sure the tube is placed correctly, use the cord to attach to patient's neck, fasten it and check regularly.
6.When indwelling, use the syringe to absorb the sputum collected in the tracheostomy cuff.
7.After use, drainage the gas of the cuff and gently pull out the catheter
8.During the process of intubation, follow tracheotomy care.

Contraindication:
Patients with the following symptoms are prohibited from using: acute laryngeal disease, acute tracheal inflammation, Subglottic inflammation or neoplasm, thoracic aortic aneurysm pressing tracheal, cervical vertebra injury, long-term tracheal intubation.

Cautions:
1. Single use only.If package is damaged, do not use!
2.This product is restricted to be used by medical staffs
3. Doctors should choose the suitable size of tracheostomy tube according to the patients' age,gender and figure.
4.The pressure of filling intubation cuff shall not exceed 1.7KPa
5. Inject certain amount of sterile water into the suction interface to moisten the respiratory tract before suction operation.

Product safe disposal:

Dispose of used tracheostomy tubes and accessories in a sanitary container to prevent contamination and cross-infection. Store in a dry, ventilated, and cool place, avoiding exposure to harmful substances.
