Syringe:
The emergence of syringes is an epoch-making revolution in the field of medical equipment. The process of extracting or injecting gas or liquid with a needle is called injection. The syringe is composed of a syringe with a small hole in the front end and a matching piston core rod, used to inject a small amount of liquid or gas into areas that cannot be accessed by other methods or to extract from those areas. When the core rod is pulled out, the liquid or gas is sucked in from the small hole in the front end of the syringe, and when the core rod is pushed in, the liquid or gas is squeezed out.
Syringes can also be used for medical equipment, containers, and scientific instruments in some chromatography to inject through rubber membranes. Injecting gas into a blood vessel can cause air embolism. The method of removing air from the syringe to avoid embolism is to invert the syringe, gently tap it, and then squeeze out a little liquid before injecting into the bloodstream.
