The principle of vacuum blood collection tube is to pre draw a covered blood collection tube into different vacuum degrees, and use its negative pressure to automatically collect venous blood samples. One end of the blood collection needle is inserted into the human vein, and the other end is inserted into the rubber plug of the vacuum blood collection tube. Different colors indicate different uses.
Human venous blood is drawn into a blood sample container through a blood sampling needle under negative pressure inside a vacuum collection vessel. Under a single venous puncture, multi tube collection can be achieved without leakage.
1. Ordinary serum tube (virology):
Red cap, without additives in the blood collection vessel, used for routine serum biochemical, blood bank, and serological tests.
2. Quick serum tube:
The orange red head cap contains a coagulant in the blood collection vessel, which can activate fibrin proteases and turn soluble fibrin into insoluble fibrin polymers, thereby forming stable fibrin clots. The rapid serum tube can coagulate the collected blood within 5 minutes and is suitable for emergency serum biochemical testing.
3. Inert separation gel coagulation promoting tube:
A golden head cap with inert separation gel and coagulant added to the blood collection vessel. After centrifugation, the inert separation gel can separate the liquid components (serum or plasma) and solid components (red blood cells and white blood cells) in the blood;
Platelets, fibrin, etc.) are completely separated and accumulated in the center of the test tube to form a barrier, and the sample remains stable within 48 hours. Coagulants can quickly activate the coagulation mechanism, accelerate the coagulation process, and are suitable for emergency serum biochemical tests.
4. Heparin anticoagulant tube (blood biochemistry):
Green hood with heparin added to the blood collection vessel. Heparin directly has the effect of antithrombin, which can prolong the clotting time of the sample. Suitable for red blood cell fragility test, blood gas analysis, hematocrit test, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and ordinary biochemical tests, not suitable for blood coagulation test.
Excessive heparin can cause aggregation of white blood cells and cannot be used for white blood cell counting. It is not suitable for white blood cell classification because it can cause the background of blood slides to appear light blue after staining.
